Steel
Designed to cut arcs, curves, and plunge cut circles with a contoured shaped framing for wood, diamond, and steel blade with a compass guide.
ARCUS® Curve Cutting System
Arch
A 36" outside radius cut was made first and then a
30" inside radius was cut to make this arch out of
½" plywood. Using a circular saw with a ARCUS®
Contoured Radius Cutting Circular Saw Blade for
Wood, makes building arches for framing fast and
easy. Less plywood is wasted than cutting with
conventional methods.  A must have tool for
framing carpenters for framing arches.
The ARCUS® Radius Cutting Circular Saw Wood
Blade is cutting a 2" x 12'. The 64" radius is done
in two passes with a Large ARCUS® Compass
Guide. The first pass is 1" deep and the second
pass is 2 " deep. A tight radius may require more
than one pass.  Medium and large radius can be
cut in one pass, however the cut is better with
two passes and blade life is extended. A very
precise way to cut rafters for barrel or arched
ceilings usually no sanding is needed before
adding wood molding.
The ARCUS® Blade & Compass Guide System is
cutting a perfect circle in 1" maple 40" diameter.
For smaller diameters we recommend making two
passes at a 1"  depth. The ARCUS® Blade is  a Con-
toured Shaped Radius Circular Saw Blade and using
the Compass Guide you can cut circles or round tops
in with clean edges in seconds .Makes  DIY projects
quick and easy to build.  Must have tool for finish
carpenters & do it yours selfers who want professional
looking results. (The maple was  a door panel, glued
together to get a square maple piece for this cut).
The ARCUS® Radius Cutting Circular Saw Wood
Blade and Compass Guide was used to cut this
curved deck bench out of composite decking
material. The pivot point was positioned so that
the outside and inside radius is concentric(having
the same radius pivot points for both cuts ).  Both
of theses radius cuts are accurate & do not require
sanding. The ARCUS® Wood Blade has  C-6
carbide teeth for a long life and will cut through
nails when imbedded in wood or decking material.
When cutting decking material you can cut curves
freehanded using the ARCUS® Wood Blade or use
the Larger Compass Guide for precision cutting of
costly composite decking material and does not
require sanding.
